I have always been creative and had an artistic eye, but was never able to draw or paint by hand.
At the age of 13, I bought my first SLR camera and I found the tool that I could use to express myself.
I particular like the photography of people, and I love the ability to capture feelings & moods.
My style of photography is relaxed, natural and contemporary.
I strive to make each photograph perfect,
but I never try to compromise on spontaneity or emotion.
The development of digital photography and computerized enhancement programmes
cannot substitute for the ability to take good photographs.
It can however assist the photographer in presenting photographs
in innovative ways such as Photo Albums, FotoBooks or animated slideshows.

From a professional point of view, I am keen to keep up-to-date with new products, technology
and software. I am a member of a leading wedding photographers professional webforum and
I have attended courses at UWA Extension.
I am also a member of the AAPP, the Accredited Association of Professional Photographers in Australia. The assocation holds regular standards competitions in which I have attained several awards. The culmination of these awards has resulted in the following placings:
WA Open Photographer of the Year (2009) - Second Place
WA Wedding Photographer of the Year (2009) - Third Place
WA Professional Photographer of the Year (2009) - Third Place
